His activities include working with weed management areas on and around state lands managed by the Office of School and Public Lands.  School and Public Lands has integrated GIS & GPS technology in the management of invasive plant species. South Dakota School and Public Lands offers their assistance with cooperative weed management on and around lands managed by their agencies. Currently School and Public Lands and the Bureau of Land Management have joined forces in the management of noxious weeds by exchanging technology, procedures and coordinating activities.
